Apartment Review for Sunrise Harbor - Fort Lauderdale, FL

Sunrise Harbor is a lousy place to live considering how much it costs. We paid around $2700 for a 2 bedroom/2bathroom apartment with a city view. The interior was dull and very cheap looking ( cabinets, tiles, appliances, toilets). The carpet had stains and the windows were quite filthy. Management staff were lazy and incompetent. The parking is expensive and the garage has poor safety features. The only nice feature is the location- close to the beach and across a nice shopping mall. Amenities were okay but often the pools were lined with fungus and mold products. The roar of motorcycles could be heard at least 5-6 times per day. We often could hear our neighbors flushing their toilets- very thin walls! The hallways are not air conditioned most of the time and so the stink of the trash chutes permeates throughout the two buildings. The concierge is snobby and not helpful at all. All in all - a lousy, overpriced, poorly managed development. BEWARE!!
