Apartment Review for Whispering Palms - Fort Lauderdale, FL

I wish I would have read the reviews before moving in to this complex. This place is horrible. You have drug dealers, prostitutes, all types of hoodlums living here. I was told that My rent would one amount and then later I began to receive a second bill for water, sewage and trash. I was never told I would pay for water, sewage and trash. I was specifically told that it would be included in my rent. Rip offs!! Not only that, the damn walls are to thin. You can hear your neighbors fighting, yelling, screaming or talking through the walls. Oh, my god did I mention the music. If your neighbors are jamming next to you, you are bound to hear that garbage music all night. I'm sick of this place. Roaches are everywhere. I find them in my cereal boxes, cabinets, pots, bowls, bathroom. I ran through almost 4 cans of roach spray in a month. If you don't mind living trashy then this would be the ideal place for you. I hate it here. Don't expect me to renew my lease, Liar's, Rip Offs, all the negative words in the dictionary!!!!
